Mr. Clifton “Paul” Wright, Jr., 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 23, 2025. He was born in Raleigh, NC on October 21, 1961. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting sports memorabilia. Most of his friends from the old days would remember him as an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Wright. Paul is survived by his wife, Deborah Wright; a daughter, Kari Marlow; two grandchildren, Ethan and Margaux Petot; his father, Clifton Paul Wright, Sr. (Reta); his mother, Nancy Turney; a stepdaughter, Kelly Wright (Robby) and a stepbrother, Kevin Womble (Christi). A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. David Creighton officiating.
