Clint Lightle

Clinton Glenn Lightle, age 63, of McAlester, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, in Tulsa.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Bishop Chapel of Memories, officiated by Rev. J.D. Wyzard. Cremation will follow.

Clinton was born on April 18, 1962, in McAlester, Oklahoma. He attended school in McAlester, Crowder, and Haileyville. From a young age, Clint developed a strong work ethic and began his career in the oil and gas industry. He spent the majority of his professional life with Rowan Companies as a mechanical engineer, working offshore and overseas. After many years of dedicated service, he retired in 2015.

In February of 2006, Clint married Lori Barnhill in McAlester, beginning a loving partnership that remained central to his life.

Clint had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and camping with friends. He was known for sharing memorable stories from his many adventures working in the oil fields. At home, he found joy tinkering around the house, often accompanied by his beloved fur baby, Ruger.

Above all, Clint treasured his family. Though his circle was small, it was strong-filled with close family members and lifelong friends who meant the world to him.

He was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Theodore Barnes; and a nephew, Joshua Lightle.

Clint is survived by his father, Jack Lightle and wife Connie of Maricopa, Arizona; mother, Wanda Wyzard and husband J.D. of McAlester; his wife, Lori Lightle, of the home; daughter, Hayli Parker and husband Jonathon of Krebs; stepchildren, Simon Perez and wife Kayli of McAlester, Stephanie Beavers of Kansas, and Jennifer Hoffman of Ada; grandchildren, Kylee, Kennadi, Emma, upcoming baby Rynli, Devin, Dylan, Madalyn, Hadlee, Hagen, Aydan, Jaxi, Rustyn, and Casen; great-grandchildren, Dawson and Brooklynn; brother, Cameron Lightle and wife Sarah of McAlester; stepbrother, Bryon Barnes of Arizona; brother-in-law, Vince Barnhill and wife Dawn of Dallas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Clinton Glenn Lightle will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
