Clinton Bison Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sullivan Funeral Home - Marshall on Jun. 14, 2023.
Beloved husband, cherished father, treasured son, Clinton Ted "Clint" Bison, age 38, passed away in Shreveport, LA on June 9, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 11, 1985 in Shreveport, LA. Clint is preceded in death by his grandmother, Joann Ashby; his daddy, Doug Hensley and his biological father, Tommy Bison. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 17 years, Amanda Bison; his daughters, Skylar Bison and Joanna Bison; his mother, who he adored, Penny Hensley; his siblings, Scotty Bison, James Bison and wife, April, Trisha Bison Monasco and husband, Jimmy and Shyan Hensley; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; many friends, including his 798 Pipefitter Family and his two four-legged fur babies, Jack and Rip. He completed his GED, actually twice the second time because he was bored and wanted to see if he could still do it. He was a devoted member of the Pipefitters Local Union 798 for the past 15 years, completing certification in many areas simply because he always took the opportunity to excel with his job and get various certifications. Clint would always strive to be the best husband, father, son and friend to all. He was a true "Mama's Boy" and was extremely proud of his siblings, his family and their connection to each other. His love for others was not defined by blood or relationship he loved all and his life was well lived. Clint enjoyed playing video games in his spare time and loved watching movies, possibly having seen every movie ever available; but his true passion in life was his family and the time he spent with them. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Viola, Christian McIntosh, Alex Cooksey, Randy Walker, Ethan Odom, George Stephens, Tim Syms and Jason Baker.
Due to power outages, the visitation for Clint Bison has been cancelled. Services scheduled for tomorrow will continue as planned contingent on power being restored to the funeral home. Please check back tomorrow for an update regarding the service.
