Clinton Michael Holbrook (74), of Aurora, IL, passed away at home Thursday August 21, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer. Clinton will always be remembered for capturing thousands of moments on film before digital photography took over. His love for family was evident in the many gatherings held over the years before the passing of his beloved wife Patricia. Clinton was a member of the 101st Airborne division of the Army serving in Vietnam and a retired employee of Aurora Metals LLC. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Kay Holbrook of Aurora, daughter-in-law CeiCei Holbrook of Island Lake IL. Grandchildren Reven Stewart, Malik Stewart, Sidious Stewart, Carolyn Holbrook, Charles Holbrook. His brothers Bobby (Pat) Holbrook of Mount Vernon IL, George Holbrook of Aurora IL, Bob Micheal Holbrook of West Dante, VA. His sisters Carrie Salyer of West Dante, VA, Anita Starnes of West Dante, VA. Though leaving behind many nieces and nephews he held a special bond sister-in-law who was more like a daughter Tina(Jim) Huettemann who stood with him during good times and enduring the bad, and her sons Tyler and Zach Huettemann who were loved like his grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his beloved wife Patricia K Holbrook(Hicks), his son Clinton Michael Holbrook Jr, his father George Morgan Holbrook, his mother Fannie Holbrook, his brothers Luther Holbrook, Ray Holbrook, Frank Holbrook, his sisters Zadie Jean Clark, Bonnie Rebecca Holbrook. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time to be determined. Arrangements conducted by THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, Illinois 60506 630-631-5500.
