Clyda P. Turner, age 76 passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born to Clyde and Oleta Keplinger on February 13, 1948, in Elk City, Oklahoma.
In 1966, Clyda graduated from Bethany High School. Those closest to her remember her fun loving with a rebellious spirit. She went on to become a mother. Clyda worked as an office manager at City Glass as well as Farmers Insurance.
Clyda loved music and line dancing. She had a great sense of adventure. Jumping out of planes, riding in hot air balloons, to the fastest rollercoasters, she was the first in line. Clyda enjoyed a good haunted house and never missed her scary movies on Saturday nights. She had a special affection for animals and spoiled her Grand dogs.
Clyda was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Oleta Keplinger, brother Kenneth Keplinger and nephew Ron Hefner.
She is survived by her sister Evelyn Hefner. Son and daughter in law, Jason and Sharay Davis. Daughter and daughter in law Shannon Lopez and Elizabeth Fraggetta. Grandchildren, Jayda Davis, BreAnn and Forrest Jackson. Great Grandchild, Carter Rose. Many loved nieces and nephews. Her blended family, (The Turners) and countless friends.
Clyda's Memorial will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Victory Church. 4300 N MacArthur Blvd, Warr Acres, OK 73112.
