Visitation for Clyde Carter will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
Clyde was born October 5, 1936, in Wisner, Louisiana and entered into rest August 28, 2024, in Bossier City, Louisiana. Clyde was a member of Louisiana Cattleman’s Association, former mayor of Doyline, and former fire commissioner of Webster District 3.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie and Thomas Milton Carter, brothers, Johnnie Ray Carter, Frank Carter, and Clifton Carter, and sister, Dixie Faye Hanson.
He is survived by his grandsons, Dacota Finklea and wife Rachel of Doyline and Mikeal Stoops and wife Mindy of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania, great-grandchildren, Frank, Carter, and Elizabeth, brother, Tommy Carter and wife Fancy of Doyline and a number of nieces and nephews.
