Clyde Willis Davis, entered his heavenly home on July 23, 2024, at the age of 91. He was born on November 21, 1932, in Douglas, Georgia to Alfred Eugene and Mattie Bell Baisden Davis and has called Glennville, Georgia for the last 41 years.
Clyde led a remarkable life filled with service and dedication to others. Clyde attended South Georgia College to further his knowledge and skills. He served as the Summerville Recreation Director for 18 years, followed by another 18 years as the Glennville Recreation Director. Additionally, he worked as a Bank Courier for Cadence Bank for 20 years. His commitment to these roles touched the lives of many and left a lasting impact on the communities he served.
Clyde was a proud US Air Force Veteran and loved his country. Throughout his life, he exemplified a strong work ethic and an exceptional sense of humor that endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In his leisure time, Clyde found solace in gardening and sports. He was a devoted member of the Glennville First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, greeter, Sunday school teacher and actively participated in the Friendship Sunday School Class. His faith was a guiding light in his life, and his service to the church community was invaluable.
Above all else, Clyde's proudest accomplishments were centered around his role as a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family meant everything to him, and his love and support knew no bounds.
Clyde is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Arthur Davis and Hubert Davis.

Grandchildren, Blake Bloser (Meredith, Lauren Evans (Clint), Kristen Davis, Drew Bloser (Anna), Jenna Leigh Weaver (Joshua)
Great Grandchildren, Deacon and Evangeline Evans, Avirlyn and Millie Bloser, Davis Bloser
Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
A visitation will begin at 1:00 PM on July 26, 2024, at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors rendered by the U.S. Air Force..
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
