Clyde Ronald Hudson "Ron" 74, of Elm Grove, Louisiana, passed away on April 20, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on August 26, 1949, in Haynesville, La.
Ron spent his entire career working in the oilfield, dedicating his life to his work.
Known for his fun-loving nature and never meeting a stranger, Ron was a great cook and a friend to all who knew him. He especially enjoyed his fishing trips with his buddies and found joy in spending time with good friends.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Carol, his children: Ron Hudson Jr (Karla), Kelly Myers (Aaron), Nathan Hudson (Jennifer), Tony (Brittany), step children: Lori Kellogg, Ray Myers (Amanda)
Grandkids: Shelby Hudson, Drew Myers (Janna), Auston Myers (Alyssa), Makenze Hudson, Brady Hudson, Kason Hudson, Karson Hudson, Kaylin Hudson. Step Grandkids: Logan Ferguson (Logan), David Whittington (Kayla) Kelly Myers, Kyleigh Myers, Hunter Reeves, Maddison Myers. Great Grandchild: Ridge Myers, Step Great Grandchildren: Stetson Ferguson, Colter Ferguson
He was a cherished father, grandfather and great-grandfather!
He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde & OB Hudson
Siblings: Harold Hudson (Sue), Garland Hudson (Amy)
Stepchildren: LeeAnn McDade, Lisa Myers
A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 2 pm at the American Legion Fred A. Rodgers Post 388, 5401 Highway 527, Haughton, LA 71037.
In his memory, Ron's family invites all who knew him to join them in honoring his life and sharing cherished memories. Ron will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. It was also his wish that all of his family and friends would come to know The Lord as their Savior if they haven't already.
