Clyde Scott Obituary
Clyde Wayne Scott, born on November 24, 1947, in Hoke County, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2025, in Guilford County, North Carolina, at the age of 77.
Clyde's journey was marked by dedication, humor, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. A man of many passions, Clyde devoted much of his professional life as a Project Manager in the Heating & Air Systems Industry, where his strong work ethic and leadership inspired all who worked alongside him. His career was a testament to his diligence and meticulous nature, qualities he honed from a young age working in the tobacco fields.
Outside of work, Clyde found joy in the simple yet profound pleasures of life. He had a remarkable passion for raising chickens and bringing them up with care and love. A skilled craftsman, he took pride in building woodstoves, each creation a testament to his artistry and attention to detail. An aficionado of the cinematic world, he delighted in watching scary movies and westerns, finding endless amusement and wonder in their stories.
Sundays were reserved for football, and Clyde was a steadfast fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His garden was a sanctuary, a place where he nurtured both plants and soul, growing vegetables that would later transform into his famous soups, shared generously with friends and family.
Clyde's coffee cup was never far from his side, as was his infectious laughter. He approached life with a great sense of humor, endearing him to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His loyalty and readiness to help anyone in need left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Above all, Clyde cherished his family, especially his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Spending time with them brought him immeasurable joy and fulfillment.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Scott and Kathleen Lindsay Scott, and all of his siblings. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Morrison, Pennie Sizemore, Angela Scott and Amy Teal and his son Robert Gibson; his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren, and his sister Patsy Brown, all of whom carry forward his legacy of love and laughter.
There is no public service planned at this time. The Scott Family has entrusted their arrangements with Triad Cremation & Funeral Service.
Clyde Wayne Scott's memory will forever inspire those who knew him to approach life with warmth, humor, and kindness. His spirit lives on in the gardens he tended, the family he adored, and the hearts he touched. He greatly and deeply loved his "Momma".
He was our Hero. We Love You Daddy.
