Cody is preceded in death by his grandfather Terry Carden and he is survived by his son Collin Thomas Edwards, his mother Lori Lynn Edwards (Terry Harris), his father Joey Paul Edwards (Lisa Holmes), his brother Christian Taylor Edwards, his grandparents Dale and Linda Sears, Lynn and Carmon Edwards, several aunts, uncles, and cousins
He was a loving father, devoted to his 4-year-old son, Collin, who was the light of his life.
Cody had a passion for cooking, often sharing delicious meals with family and friends. His ability to draw was unmatched, he cherished his time outdoors with Collin, especially fishing, and was a devoted fan of Alabama football, proudly proclaiming "Roll Tide!"
A true music lover, he found joy in hard rock, and he was an avid fan of Marvel movies, often sharing his enthusiasm with those around him.
Cody will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his spirit will live on in the memories shared with family and friends.
A time of visitation and fellowship will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Magnolia House at Cremation Services of East Alabama.
In honor of his love for life, we invite all who knew him to celebrate his memory.
