Cody Allen Johns, 38, of Plainville, Georgia, departed this life on September 27, 2024, from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident in Thomasville, Georgia.
Cody was born on October 26, 1985, the son of Michael Johns and Angela Stanley Johns. He attended Red Bud School and Gordon Central High School and was employed in the Land Clearing Industry. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hiking, and making people laugh. His maternal grandparents, Clayton and Geraldine Stanley, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his parents, Michael Johns and Angela Stanley Johns; daughter, Jailynn Rose; brother, Brandon Johns; maternal grandparents, Lynn and Robert Kinsey and Max and Bobby Johns; nieces and nephews, Austin Johns (Samantha Stuart), Logan and Makala Johns; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Cody Allen Johns will be held Friday, October 4th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery near Resaca. Pallbearers serving include Logan Johns, Austin Johns, Matthew Brackett, Trapper Finley, Gavin Johns, and Tristan Gordon. Kayden Lau will serve as an alternate pallbearer.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3rd, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
