Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals - GreenvilleCody Franklin Langley, affectionately known as Cody, was born on August 3, 1996, in Greenwood and passed away there on February 12, 2026. Through out his life, Cody was characterized by his adventurous spirit, selflessness, and a deep passion for the things he loved. He touched the lives of many with his loving nature, thoughtfulness, and unparalleled courage.
Growing up in Greenwood, Cody developed a love for the outdoors that shaped much of his personality. He was an enthusiast of motorcycles, hunting, and fishing, and his talent for building and creating things earned him the title of a "jack of all trades." His intelligence and resourcefulness made him not only skilled but also a source of inspiration to those who knew him.
Cody is survived by his beloved family, including his mother, Melissa Burnett; his father, Frank Langley, and stepmother Jennifer; his devoted wife, Diane Whitfield Langley; and their cherished son, Nicklaus Langley, as well as his bonus parents Tony and Angie Brower. He is also survived by his brothers: Benji Langley, Justin Langley, Jody "Duck" Langley, and Jamie Bell, and his step-brothers: Alan M. Ethridge, Richard H. Wyatt, and Zachary R. Wyatt. Additionally, he held a special place in his heart for his cousins, reared in the home Lauren Perry-Trammell and Jon Perry, as well as his best friend, Tristen Evans.
Cody was predeceased by his grandparents, James and Deborah Burnett, and his uncle, Jim Burnett.
Our memories live on through the stories and experiences shared in Cody's adventurous life. As we remember him, we celebrate the impact he had on everyone around him and the love he shared with his family and friends. Cody will always be remembered as a vibrant soul whose legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
