Cody Lee Spence, age 34, of Bergman, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

He was born in Harrison on March 11, 1991. Cody was a 2009 graduate of Bruno Pyatt High School and a member of Dominion Life Church.

Cody loved hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, firecracker wars, and arrowhead hunting.

Cody had a beautiful family. A family story that began with Courtney in 2012, when fate placed them in each other's path and love quietly took root. In the years that followed, they built a life filled with laughter, resilience, and a devotion that could weather any storm. Their greatest joy came in the form of four beautiful boys, the living proof of their bond. On November 5, 2022, they stood hand in hand and promised what their hearts had known for years, that they were each other's home. Through every smile, every tear, and every shared dream, they built something unshakable, a love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew them.

He loved his family and was all about his boys. He adored his boys, and they thought of him as a real-life superhero. Their superhero.

Cody was willing to help anyone at any time. He worked extremely hard to take care of his family. Cody loved adventure and lived life to the fullest. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Spence and Johnny Spence; aunt, Deanna Dean; uncles, Clifford Spence and Tim Williams; and a sister-in-law, Erin Davis.

Cody is survived by his wife, Courtney Spence; 4 sons, Dakota, Karter, Wyatt, and William; his mom, Rebecca Spence; his dad, Bill Davis; brothers, BJ (Jennifer) Davis and Bo (Crystal) Davis; mother-in-law, Mary Rine, father-in-law, Keith Hudson; brothers-in-law, Brian (Morgan) Hudson and Kadin Hudson; sister-in-law, Brooklyn Williams (Garrett Jones); a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

The visitation will be held at 10 AM and the funeral service immediately following at 11 AM both on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Dominion Life Church with Bro. Coma Rivers officiating. Burial will follow at York Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are B.J. Davis, Bo Davis, Josh Burnett, Brandon Williams, Nathan Mitchell, and John "Keebler" Allen.

Honorary pallbearers are Bill Davis, John Paul Spence, Aaron Dean, Austin Spence, Irl Spence, Doug Davis, Mike Davis, and Mike Reschke.
