Cody Jonathan White

Cody Jonathan (Jones) White, age 34 of Monroe, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021.
Born June 14, 1987 in Toledo, OH, Cody was the son of Jonathan P. and S. Renee (Jones) White. He graduated from Ida High School in 2005 where he lettered in basketball.
Cody was employed as a Technician by Ford Motor Company for the past ten years at the Flat Rock and Livonia locations. He was a member of Bible Fellowship Church and the National Rifle Association.
For ten years, Cody served on the Monroe Twp. Fire Department as a State of Michigan Certified Firefighter. He enjoyed collecting and building guns and was an avid Gamer and dog lover.
Cody is survived by his parents, Jonathan and Renee White of Monroe; grandmother, Louise White of Temperance; Aunts and Uncles, Steve and Dawn Jones of Monroe, Rick and Yolanda Jones of Perrysburg, OH, Steve and Brenda White of Locust Grove, GA, and Tom and Sharon Beckhoff of Lanexa, VA; many cousins, special lifelong friend, Emily, and Rescue Dog Annie.
Cody was preceded in death by grandparents, Eugene and Marlene Jones, and Rev. Dr. Eugene White; and pet dogs, Scooby, Thumper, and Pepe.
Family and friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30th at Bacarella Funeral Home. Cody will lie in state at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bible Fellowship Church where services will begin at 11 a.m. The church pastor, Rev. Andy Hill, will officiate followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.
