Colleen Theresa Celestin, 66, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC while surrounded by her children.
Colleen was born in New Orleans, Louisiana before relocating to the Asheville area around the age of 8. She recently moved to Inman, SC where she worked as a veterinarian receptionist.
Colleen had a contagious laugh and a kind heart. She loved people, but most of all animals. She enjoyed watching birds in her yard. She especially loved red cardinals. She mostly enjoyed the company of her family and friends. She put her grandchildren's happiness above all else. Her love for life was felt by all. She found beauty in all things, and shared that with her family and friends. She leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
She was a daughter of the late Philip Celestin and Catherine Celestin; she was also preceded in death by her sister Gayle Celestin.
Surviving are her daughter, Mallory Webb (Sidney); son, Hayden Bradley (Kristina), Grandchildren: Kambria Webb, Kellen Webb, Grayson Dockery, Ember Bradley; life partner, Brad Gregory; and sister, Jane Oswell (Jim).
There will be a time to celebrate the life of Colleen Theresa Celestin on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 3 till 5 pm at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Asheville Humane Society, 14 Forever Friend Lane, Asheville, NC 28806 or online at www.ashevillehumane.org
