With deep sorrow and great love, we share the passing of Colleen J. Coldon-a devoted mother, sister, aunt, friend, and life-partner whose beauty, warmth, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.
Colleen was stunning inside and out. She radiated light, kindness, and strength, and she devoted her life wholeheartedly to her children, Kim and Austin, whom she proudly called her greatest blessings. She had a sparkling personality, an infectious laugh, and a habit of cheerfully singing and dancing through the house on days she felt particularly happy.
A lifelong lover of books and creative writing, Colleen cherished storytelling from a young age and dreamed of publishing a novel of her own one day. During her years at Rutgers University, she majored in English and Marketing, and was even crowned "Ms. Rutgers." There, she built lifelong friendships with women she treasured as sisters.
Professionally, she was a gifted salesperson admired for her genuine ability to connect with others. Whatever she put her heart into, she gave her all.
Colleen's spirit was whimsical, compassionate, and resilient. Even through challenges, she held tightly to her faith in God and found strength in the love of her family and friends.
She is lovingly remembered by her lifelong husband and best friend, Jeff, whom she always referred to as "her rock"; her children, Austin and Kim; her sister, Tricia Friederichs; as well as countless other beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. She is finally reunited with those she missed so much, especially her dear parents, Patricia and Nicholas "Poppy" Piegaro, as well as her big sister Cindy.
Colleen was loved by many, and we are especially grateful to those who offered her comfort, companionship, and grace in her final years.
Her laughter, her kindness, and her beautiful spirit will remain with us forever and always.
