Colleen Heidebrecht, age 88, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully in hospice care on March 1, 2025. She was born on January 13, 1937, in Buffalo, Missouri and lived a full and meaningful life. Colleen dedicated many years to her career as a Benefit Claims Authorizer for the Social Security Administration in Kansas City before retiring.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years Glenn; daughter Cathy; son James; beloved grandchildren Kathryn (Ben) and Christopher (Valerie); six cherished great-grandchildren Riley, Savannah, Piper, Lucas, Sage and Callahan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Robert and son Russell.
Colleen’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate teams at Wexford Memory Care and Ascend Hospice for their exceptional care and kindness throughout these past few years.
