It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen "Coco" Ingoglia (Measel), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2024, at the age of 66. Coco was the cherished wife of John Ingoglia, with whom she shared 41 beautiful years of marriage. Their love story was a source of joy and inspiration to all who knew them.
Coco was a devoted and loving mother to her two children, Johnny (T'Jae) and Kristin, and found her greatest passion in being a grandmother to her precious grandchildren, Calvin, Caitlyn and Mila. Her heart overflowed with love and pride for her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Whether it was cuddling her grandchildren or cheering them on at every milestone, being "Grandma Coco" brought her endless joy.
She also enjoyed spending time on the golf course with her husband, John, and her golf group girlfriends, sharing their mutual love of the game. Coco's competitive spirit shone through when she notably beat John in a round of golf in November 2023, a victory she lovingly reminded him of ever since.
Coco's warmth, generosity, and vivacious personality extended far beyond her family. She was well-loved by many friends and relatives, both in Florida and Michigan, where she made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Coco's home was always filled with laughter, and she had a way of making everyone feel special and welcome.
Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched. Colleen's legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will remain a beacon of light for her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
Dear sister to Mike (Rose) Measel, Donnie (Sherry) Measel, Cathy (Chuck) LaFontaine, Chris (Rachelle) Measel, and Steve Measel. Treasured sister-in-law to Sharlene (Tim) Milson, Laura (Bruce) Roehler, Debbie (Dave) Kerner and Christine (Rick) Katlein. Fun and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Mary Measel.
Visitation will be Monday from 3-8pm with an 11:30am Funeral Service on Tuesday at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Please share memories with the family at their online guestbook at WujekCalcaterra.com
