Colleen Longardner

Gloria Colleen Longardner, 81, of New Haven, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at her home. 

Colleen was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 31, 1943, a daughter of the late Florence A. (Stoll-Welsch) & Basil N. Murphy. 

Colleen dedicated many years to working in inventory control at Do It Best Hardware, where she appreciated her coworkers and friends. Outside of her career, she had a passion for biking and gardening, often spending time outdoors and reading. Colleen could find joy in a good book as well as a beautiful flower. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was actively involved in her church, Taylor Methodist Chapel. Colleen was a joyful giver and supported many wonderful causes throughout her life. Above all, Colleen cherished the moments spent with her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Colleen was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and GGMA. 

She will be dearly missed by her children, Curtis (Rebecca) Longardner, Denise (Robert) Glasser, & Craig (Sonja) Longardner; siblings, Linda (Dennis) Alspach & Susan (Bud) Hines; grandchildren, Jacob, Cody, Jack, Ethan, Kate, Ben, & Juli; & 2 great grandchildren. 

Colleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Longardner, and brother, David Murphy. 

She will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery.
