Colleen A. Morrison

Colleen A. Morrison, a cherished sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on July 20, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on December 5, 1959, in Ogdensburg, NY, Colleen was a vibrant soul whose passion for life and love for her family knew no bounds.
Colleen was a proud graduate of Bellingham High School, Class of 1977, where she left a lasting mark as an MVP and a dedicated two-sport athlete. Her competitive spirit and leadership on the field were a testament to her adventurous nature.
After high school, Colleen's career path was as varied as her interests. She spent several years at the former General Motors Plant in Framingham during the mid-80s, a job that showcased her dedication and strong work ethic. Colleen's friendly demeanor made her a beloved figure at Liquor World/Pop-n-Cork in Mendon, where she worked for many years. Her colleagues and customers alike will remember her for her helpful nature and smile. Colleen also brightened Friday nights at the former Pete's Bluebird Restaurant in Bellingham, where her presence was a highlight for many.
An ardent sports enthusiast, Colleen's love for the game was evident in her unwavering support for all the Boston sports teams, with a special place in her heart for the Bruins. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino.
She is survived by her loving family, including her sister Maureen J. and her husband Kevin Maines of Mendon, and her brother Patrick E. and his wife Rosalie Morrison of Hopedale. Colleen was a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephew, Kaleigh Maines, Meghan Maines, Michela Morrison, and Nicholas Morrison, who will forever treasure the memories and the lessons learned from their Aunt Colleen.
Colleen was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Shirley (O'Leary) Morrison, her brother Michael W. Morrison, and her sister Kathleen Morrison. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with them, sharing stories and laughter as they watch over their loved ones together.
Visiting hours will be Wed. July 24, 2024 from 4 – 7 PM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford.
Services will be Thursday July 25th at 10:30 AM from the funeral home with a procession leaving at 11 AM for a graveside funeral service at 11:30 AM in the Bertoni Chapel at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Rd., Rte. 109, Milford.
