Our loving feisty, firecracker of a woman Honey passed away in her sleep the early morning hours of July 14, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Kemmerer, WY to Ricardo “Rex” and Vera Borino. She was the oldest of their two kids.

Honey met the love of her life Robert “Pa” while attending high school in Kemmerer. They married September 24, 1960, at St. Patrick Church. Shortly after becoming newlyweds, they moved to Ogden, UT and began their beautiful lives here.

Honey led a vibrant and fulfilling life, rich with passion and love for her family. Honey cherished the countless summer days she spent with her family on their yellow boat teaching all the kids and grandkids how to water ski. Alongside Pa she traveled the US and developed an everlasting love for the ocean, Oklahoma Sooners football games, fishing up in Alaska with friends and family, long road trips in the Mercedes where giving the “Italian Sign” was her way of contributing to the driving and lastly losing all Pa’s money on the computer playing Solitaire game.

Honey devoted 20 years to the IRS where her best and most proud memory was the day they offered early retirements. She signed the paperwork and walked out that day. After retirement she was able to spend more of her free time caring for her grandkids followed by her great grandkids. Summer nights will always be remembered by the tummy aches we all shared by eating too much watermelon on the back porch.

Honey is survived by her high school sweetheart, Pa; her cat, Granny; 3 children: Alan (Kim), Doug (Jamie), & Brenda (Glen); 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved pets, Keshia & Tommy.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Symbii Hospice for all their loving care and support.
