Colonel Robert Kash Draayer

Colonel Robert Kash Draayer passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, in Roy, Utah.
Kash was born in Ogden, Utah, on August 28, 1948, to John J. and Ida Emily Dalton Draayer. He attended schools in South Ogden, graduating from Bonneville High School.
He served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Germany. He graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in Physics, German, and Mathematics. He also earned an MBA from Utah State University.
Kash married Nancy Lee Elliott in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1970. They have 10 children: Stefanie (Jerry) Harward, Dianna (Max) Iwaniec, Ryan (Mandi), Matthew, Merideth (Zeb) Roberts, Sharon (Gaylen) Longley, Timothy, Jeffrey, Andrew (Samantha), and Hayley (Patrick) Jamison. They also have 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Colonel Draayer served proudly in the United States Air Force and worked for several civilian companies as an Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineer.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
