Colton Honeycutt, 17, of West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away tragically on October 18, 2025, in Union Parish. Born on March 5, 2008, Colton lived life with a fearless spirit and a heart full of kindness.
From a young age, Colton found joy in the great outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or tearing through trails on his dirt bike, he was always happiest under the open sky. He never met a stranger-his generous nature and infectious smile made everyone feel like a friend. Colton was the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need, and he did so with quiet strength and unwavering loyalty.
Above all, Colton cherished time spent with his family and friends. His love for them was deep and unconditional, and he brought laughter and light to every gathering. Colton was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Tammy Ferrington; his sister, Taylor Fisher; and his grandparents, Judy Trichell and Homer Ferrington. Their memories live on in the stories Colton carried and the love he gave.
He leaves behind a devoted family who will forever hold him in their hearts: his sister, Morgan Fisher-Woolsey, and brother-in-law, Dylan Woolsey; his father, Casey Honeycutt; grandparents, Jerry and Carolyn Honeycutt; and his cherished nephews, Bentley Sampagnaro, Kastin Woolsey; niece, Kaydence Woolsey. Colton is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who were like family.
To honor Colton's life, pallbearers will be Cameron Cobb, CJ Barrett, Finnon Flowers Jr., Ethan Atkins, Gage Skains, and Presley Parks-Smith. Honorary pallbearers include Casey Honeycutt, Finnon Flowers, Craig Honeycutt, and DJ Risher.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kilpatrick Funeral Homes using Family Pay at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com, or through the raffle posted on Facebook.
Colton's legacy is one of love, laughter, and loyalty. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
