Concetta “Connie” R. (Bottari) Weeks of South Weymouth, MA passed away after a long illness on July 28, 2023 at the age of 81. Connie was born in Cambridge, MA to the late Josephine and Victor Perella. She graduated from Weymouth High School and then went onto Burdett College of Business earning a business degree. Connie is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, William J. Weeks Jr. of South Weymouth MA, her loving children, Debra Carchedi and her husband Steve Carchedi of Rockland, MA, Sandra Sangster and her husband Scotty Sangster of Georgia,her cherished grandchildren Leanna Lussier and her husband Rick Lussier of Ashburnham, Kayla Rhuda and her husband Justin Rhuda of Melrose, Christopher Carchedi of New York,Alexandria Carchedi of South Weymouth and the great-grandmother of McKenna Watkins, McKayla Lussier and Nicholas Lussier of Ashburnham. She also leaves behind her loving nieces and nephew.
Connie had a love for arts & crafts, gardening, playing cards, pool & beach time, music and traveling with her husband and family. But most of all she loved being a “mimi” to her grandchildren, making special memories as well as spending time with her family and friends. Sitting around the table enjoying her “Italian feasts” was also important to her. A typical day in the kitchen cooking for her family usually included her music playing and a dance in the kitchen . She loved life and being around people. Her beautiful smile welcomed all! Connie was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed going to Fenway with her husband. She was a longtime member of the Ladies Sodality at St Francis Xavier Church as well as taught CCD.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Connie on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 4-6pm in the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Saturday at 9am for a Celebration of Life prior to the funeral mass which will take place in St. Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth at 10am. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
