Connie J. Beams, age 70, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. She was born June 22, 1954 in Preble County to the late John C. and Annie F. (McCarty) Crank. She was an avid bowler and loved crocheting; enjoyed taking walks and being outdoors; enjoyed car shows and drag racing; was a Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State Buckeyes fan; loved going to Gatlinburg, TN; and most of all spending time with family. She retired as a cashier from the Kroger store in Eaton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Linda Upton and Marlene Libecap; and brother Gary Crank. She is survived by her husband Ralph Beams of Eaton; son Randy (Shena) O’Dell, Jr. of Eaton; daughter Traci (Scott) Heiser of Eaton; niece Michelle Fridley of West Alexandria; grandchildren Tyler (Jade) O’Dell, Madisen O’Dell (Zack), Whitney Williams (Logan), Courtney Williams, Kayla Lowe, Kelsey Lowe, Derek Heiser, Megan Heiser and Erica Heiser; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:30 pm at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 W. Main St., Eaton, OH with Pastor Matt Superka officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens in West Alexandria.
