Connie Jean Bunch

Connie Jean Bunch, 74, of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 18th, 2024 at her home. She was the widow of Billy Hawley. Connie was born in Stanford, Kentucky on July 18, 1949. The daughter of the late Elmer, Jr. & Marjorie Ann Lunsford Bunch. She loved the outdoors and she loved all of the animals that God has created. She truly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most importantly and above all, she loved and adored her family and especially her grandchildren who called her "Nan." Before retirement, Connie had a very active life. She had worked at several stores in Crab Orchard. She was one of the original employees of Crab Orchard Conveinient Food Mart. She was a former Crab Orchard City Commissioner and Secretary of Crab Orchard High School. She also worked many years, as a dedicated cook, for Lincoln County High School and Crab Orchard Elementary School.

One Sister, Phyllis and Kenneth Underwood
One Brother, Joe Bunch and Wife, Sheila
Two Nephews, Paul Kendall Underwood & Benjamin "B. J." Bunch
A public memorial service will be 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beforehand from 5 until 7 PM memorial service time.
Bro. Tony Shelton will officiate the services.
