Connie Denny-Drummond Obituary

Waverly Connie Lee Denny-Drummond, 83, of Piketon, Ohio passed 2:45 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Pavilion at Piketon

Connie was born February 23, 1943, in Piketon, the daughter of the late Edison Harold Crabtree and Mary Kathryn (Carthel) Crabtree. On May 19, 1964, she was united in marriage to Arthur R. "Bill" Denny, who preceded her in death on February 18, 1992.

She is survived by two daughters, Alicia Bressette and life partner Loni Suzeba and Linda Denise Farenbaugh and husband Richard; three grandsons, Joe D. Leedy, II, Daniel R. Leedy, and Jonathan A. Gary; sixteen great-grandchildren; nine step-great grandchildren; sister, Rebecca "Becky" Drummond; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur; her 2nd husband, Johnny D. Drummond; and grandson, James A. Gary.

Connie was formerly a nursing assistant and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a volunteer for Franklin Township Fire & Rescue and EMS. She loved to needlepoint and take care of her flower garden.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2026, at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, Ohio. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, and from 10:00 a.m. until the beginning of the service on Friday at the Funeral Home.
