Connie L Frost

Connie Louise Barfield Frost, a cherished wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2025, at the age of 88 years old. Her life was a beautiful testament to love, resilience, and faith, and she touched the hearts of everyone blessed to know her.
Throughout her life, she carried with her a warmth that drew people in and a kindness that left them changed. Connie devoted her life to her family. She was a beloved wife to her husband William "Bob" Frost, Sr. She was a proud and loving mother to Bill (Janelle) Frost, John (Candice) Frost, and Robin (Tony) Presley, and the most adoring grandmother to Tony Presley Jr., Taylor Nauck, Caleb Frost, Jade Frost, Carmen Trammell, Paige Frost and her three treasured great grandchildren, William, Ethan, and Eleanor. Her home was always a safe haven filled with the smell of her cooking, the sound of laughter, and the comfort of her prayers.
She was known for her gift of storytelling, her faithful service at church and as a pink lady, and her love of baking and sharing meals. She gave selflessly, always putting the needs of others before her own, and she leaves behind a legacy of compassion and unwavering love.
She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved parents, Baley and Janie Barfield, as well as her sisters Jane Munn and Barbara Ellison.
Please join us on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Grace Church, 1021 W. 1st St., DeRidder, Louisiana for a public visitation from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of Connie's life beginning at 11:00 a.m., interment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery, DeRidder, Louisiana. Pastor George Lee Glass will be officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather as we honor her life, share cherished memories, and give thanks for the time we were given with her. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Connie's name can be made to Heroes of Hope Beauregard Health system foundation or Grace church.
Though our hearts ache with her loss, we rejoice in the comfort of knowing that Connie is at peace, reunited with loved ones gone before, and resting in the arms of her Savior. Her love and light will live on in the lives of all who knew her.
