Connie J. Gamble, age 83, of Carrollton, Ohio died early Sunday morning, September 7, 2025 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 10, 1942 in her current residence in Carrollton, and was the daughter of the late Paul and Olive (Palmer) Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Gary Phillips.

A graduate of Carrollton High School, she is a former employee of Atwood Lake Marina East and the Carrollton High School cafeteria. She took great pride in her floral gardens which she spent many hours tending and cultivating around her home. She showed enormous love to her canine and feline friends, and dedicated much of her time and resources caring for her animal friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Debra D. (Robert, Jr.) Leggett of Sherrodsville, OH a son, Dale Paul (Monique) Howell of Milford, NH, two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2025 in the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville with Rev. Kenneth Ogg officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery at Carrollton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
