Connie Sue Good Obituary

Connie Sue Good, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 5, 2026, at the age of 64, in her hometown of Evansville, where she was also born on June 25, 1961. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Connie's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her family and her community. She shared a beautiful and loving marriage with her husband, Jon Good, and they have three wonderful children: Jason Locke (married to Kelli), Matt Good (married to Makaela), and Sarah Good. Connie's joy was multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Jalia, Avery, Jase, Xoey, Ananias, Allahniece, Serenity, and Cameron, who were the light of her life.

She was a beloved sister to Joanne Kebortz Utley (Doug), Tony West (Kathleen), Michael West (Cathy), and Alice Bellomy. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dolores West, and Dave Coffman. Her family remembers her as the glue that held them together, always providing support and a listening ear.

Connie dedicated 20 years of her life as a caretaker, a role that reflected her innate desire to help and nurture others. Her caring nature extended beyond her professional life as she served on the board at her church. She devoted countless hours to cleaning and caring for the children in the nursery, ensuring that the youngest members of her church were met with the same love and attention she gave her own family.

Her interests were a mirror of her generous spirit. Connie found joy in helping people, being an active member of her church, and cherishing time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a special gift for making everyone feel loved and valued, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy.

Connie was the embodiment of loving kindness, a gentle soul whose faith guided her through life. She took her time and approached every day with a heart full of grace and a smile that could light up a room. Connie never met a stranger and had the biggest heart for all people. Her legacy is one of compassion, service, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of people.

As we bid farewell to Connie Sue Good, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey completed with grace. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Connie's memory will forever be cherished as a blessing to us all.

Pastors Cathy West and Jerhord Roach will be officiating the Service at Faith Church of the Nazarene, this Saturday the 10th.

Visitation hours will be held between 10-12, Service will begin at 12.

Please send flowers to 519 Olmstead Ave, Evansville, Indiana, 47711.
