Connie Hessling of Grapevine, Texas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away surrounded by family on September 25, 2025.
Connie was married to the love of her life, Al Hessling. Together they built a family that was her greatest pride and joy. She was the devoted mother of four children: Bryant Williamson (Joshua), Matthew Williamson (Tabitha), Josh Hessling (Sarah), and Alison Prahl (Rem). Connie was also a proud and loving grandmother to five grandchildren: Sabrina, Addie, Harley, Emily, and Charlie as well as her three great-grandchildren. She never stopped looking out for the people she loved, often worrying about them in the most loving way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Catherine Turner, whose memory she always carried close to her heart.
Connie was dedicated to her faith and deeply committed to selflessly serving her community. She spent several years working at Dove Elementary, where she touched the lives of countless students, families, and colleagues with her kindness, patience, and encouragement. Her gentle spirit, warmth, and generosity left a lasting mark on all who were blessed to know her.
She will be remembered for her love of reading, her appreciation of days spent at the beach, and the way she poured her heart into the lives of those she loved. She had a gift for listening, comforting, and offering wise advice, and was always ready to advocate for others. Holidays were made special by her talent for bringing family together and the winter wonderland she created at Christmas. She was known for her delicious lasagna, baked beans, and deviled eggs, and for her enthusiasm in collecting treasures, always excited to discover the next great deal.
Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the community she served. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
