Connie Kay Hoeper, age 81, of Warrensburg, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Warrensburg Manor Care Center.
She was born November 7, 1943, in West Palm Beach, FL, the daughter of William and Reba (Miller) Hampton.
Connie was a schoolteacher for many years in both the Grandview and Kansas City Missouri School districts. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting and traveling to different beaches. Her favorite beaches were in North Carolina. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Connie is survived by her children, Rebecca Diane (Shawn Lacey) Hoeper of Centerview, and William Frederick (Cindy) Hoeper of Centerview; three siblings, Sue Jenness of Lee's Summit, Billie Ann Jackson of Lee's Summit, and Mary Foster, of Lee's Summit; as well as five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 22nd, at 2:00 pm at the Church of Hope in Centerview, Missouri.

Mrs. Hoeper was my favorite teacher in 4th grade ... Martin City Elementary, 1967-68. My favorite memory is of Mrs. Hoeper reading chapter books to us after recess. We all lived this time because of the books that were chosen.
