Connie L. Holman, 91, of Kearney, Missouri passed away October 19, 2025 at her home. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home, Kearney, Missouri. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home, Kearney, Missouri. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kearney, Missouri.
Connie was born in Howard County, Missouri, April 24, 1934 to Tony and Mollie Heying. She graduated from high school and then married Ralph Holman, February 25, 1956. To this union, two daughters Dori and Tricia were born.
She worked as dental assistant, executive secretary for Transamerica Insurance and Solna Printing Presses and a secretary for USPCI and Synergy Services. She was very involved in church as an Elder's wife. After moving to Kearney she joined the First Baptist Church of Kearney, where she served for many years. She enjoyed all her neighbors until her health problems caused her to move in with family.
She was full of life and a very hard worker. She had a great love for Jesus and studied the bible from front to back. She was a great baker and especially at Christmas time. We loved family vacations, spending time together.
She was very proud of her two daughters. She loved making the houses we lived in, into beautiful homes. She built her own designer home from the ground up. She loved gardening, traveling and eating.
She was a good listener, her empathy and love for Jesus shown through. As her health failed those helping her were drawn to her due to her smile and snappy comebacks. She kept them laughing with wit and honesty about life and how she saw it. We will miss her very expressive face.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Holman and her parents, Tony and Mollie Heying.
She is survived by daughters, Dori (Mitch) Buhlig and Tricia (Jamie) Brown; grandchildren, Brienne, Brandon, Brileigh, Bryar and Cameron; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Arlene Slemp; brother, Fred Heying.
