Connie Larsen Litster was born to Christian and Grace Larsen on May 10, 1933, in Treasureton, Idaho. Connie married her forever love John E. Litster in the Salt Lake Temple on August 14, 1959.
At the age of 21, Connie served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Great Lakes Mission. She continued her service with numerous callings within the church throughout her life, of these her favorites were within the Primary. Her love of children had no bounds. Her children will tell you she never met a baby she didn't instantly adore. She cared for and babysat children in her home for many years, including children of those children as they grew up and started their own families. While in her care, these children got to experience her love of painting, crafts and games as she played along side them.
You could always count on the smell of warm bread, fresh fruits and jams being prepared and bottled in her kitchen every year.
Connie passed peacefully early December 2, 2024, to be with John and family who have been waiting for her.
She is survived by her 7 children: Connielynn Williams, David Litster, Scott (Norako) Litster, RuthAnn (Kurt) Rogers, Kaylene (Matthew) Brown, Kristine (Jon) Althoff, and Karalee (Nathanial) Van Hulten; 18 Grandchildren: Christopher (Maycee), Kyle, Brianna (Chandler), Jayden, Cindy, Janalyn, Thomas, Jeremiah, Shauna (Eric), Alex (Alyssa), Anthony, Leo, Stephanie (Justin), Candace (Braxton), Madyson, Gabbie, Bella, and Paige; and 5 Great-Grandchildren: Trey, Rose, Xavier, Tori, and Jackson.
Preceded in death by her parents Christian Larsen and Grace Larsen Brooks, and her stepfather Walter Brooks; her siblings: Ray, Dale, Kay, Neta, Noni, and Jacque; Son-in-law Patrick Williams, and Great-Grandchild Andrew Erickson.
