Connie Sue Losee, 72, of Leesburg, IN passed away at 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse, IN. She was born on February 22, 1949 in South Bend, IN to Leo & Vivian (Nichols) Okal.
She graduated from Mishawaka High School and lived most of her life in Syracuse / Leesburg area. She retired from Syracuse Rubber after 30+ years in quality control. She formerly worked at the Syracuse Bowling Alley, Louie’s Bar & Grill both in Syracuse, and was the former owner / operator of the Pizzeria in North Webster.
She formerly attended the St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
2 Sons – Mitch (Tamara) Losee of Syracuse and Eric (Julie) Losee of Merrill, WI
6 Grandchildren – Kayla, Heather, Ryan, Josh, Hannah, and Olivia
Great Grandson – Phoenix
Step Sister – Gerry (Gene) Kay of Syracuse
Stepbrother – Dan Miner of Syracuse
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother – Phil Okal, and companion – Michael Brinkman.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at &7:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 3489 E. 100S, Pierceton, IN 46562 or New Hope Pet Rescue, 72555 CR 29, Syracuse, IN 46567.
