With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Connie Elena Marshall, age 74, who left us on July 20, 2025, at PAM Specialty Health in Oakdale. Born on February 10, 1951, in Steubenville, she was a daughter of Perry J. Wagoner and Billie Hissem Rock.

Connie graduated from Oak Glen High School in 1969 and spent many years in management locally working for BFS Stores.

Connie had a passion for art, finding peace and calming expressions in painting beautiful pictures of flowers and sunflowers. She delighted in the simple pleasures of life, often spending some of her days fishing on the Ohio side of the Ohio River, and listening to country music and rock ' n ' roll.

A devoted cook, Connie was renowned among her family and friends for her exceptional potato salad, a dish that brought everyone around her table together. She had a soft spot for animals and cherished the companionship of her once-beloved dog. Connie also found joy in nature, often delighted in the simple act of feeding the birds that graced her yard.

In her dreams, Connie longed to take a coast-to-coast train ride, a journey that would have allowed her to see the beauty of the country she cherished so deeply.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her son Sean Ziarko.

Leaving her loved ones behind to cherish her memory, her loving sister, Barbara Strope of New Cumberland, her son, Brian (Ginger) Ziarko, and brother Perry Ben Wagoner, all of Weirton, and grandson Avery Ziarko.

Connie's wish for cremation will be honored.

She will be cremated at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Crematory, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. 26062.
