Connie L. Miller, 83, of Monmouth, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Seminary Manor, Galesburg, IL.

Connie was born December 15, 1941, in Monmouth, the daughter of Francis P. and Irene (Bennett) Martin. She was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 1959.

She married Ronald E. Miller on June 25, 1960, at Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth, and he survives.

Connie worked at Security Savings Bank in Monmouth for over 30 years holding various positions including Head Teller and VP of Operations before her retirement in 2007.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She loved to bake, cook, crochet, and attending the many sporting events of her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Connie is survived by her husband; her sons, Kenny (Jody) Miller of Monmouth, Michael (Kelly) Miller of Dallas, TX, and Jeff (Angie Taylor) Miller of Monmouth; 5 grandchildren, Matt Miller, Joey Miller, Jake Miller, Jared Miller, Jena Miller; 5 great grandchildren; her sisters, Nancy Woodell of Monmouth, Theresa Martin of Monmouth, Mary Hull of Irving, TX and Paula (Joey) Howe of Monmouth; and her brothers, Jack (Ginger) Martin and David Martin both of Monmouth; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Martin, and one sister, Judy Louck.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Monmouth. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, March 31, 2025, at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, with a Rosary Service beginning at 4:30 pm. Monday. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception School Athletic Department and sent to the funeral home.
