Connie Milliman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Young Family Funeral Home - Kendallville on Dec. 5, 2025.
Connie M. Milliman, 80, of Kendallville, Indiana died Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born October 10, 1945 in Hindman, Kentucky to Cody and Madeline (Thornsberry) Martin.
Connie had worked at various area factories, WalMart in Kendallville and as a cashier at Cracker Barrel in Auburn.
She lived a life full of creativity and joy. From coin collecting to sewing quilts stitched with love, her hands were always busy making something meaningful. She delighted in cooking and tending her garden, finding peace in nurturing things. Music and movement brought her happiness-whether singing karaoke or line dancing with friends. And when dancing was no longer possible, she found excitement in visiting the casino, embracing life's pleasures with the same spirit of fun and adventure that defined her days.
Surviving are a daughter, Janie Mosley of Kendallville; three sons, Roy (Sarah) Mosley of Kendallville, Jack (Janet) Bolen of Kendallville, and Lucas (Ashley) Smith of Kendallville; seven grandchildren, Corrina (Brian) Rhodes, Tyler Becker, Tim (Molly Goings) Talbott, Ava (Lucas) Deck, Brooke Bolen, Jack Bolen and baby Ronan Smith on the way; six great-grandchildren, Drew, Collin, Brendan, Drey, Braelee, and Adela; a sister, Mildred Martin of Sellersburg; and a brother, Teddy Martin of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donathon "Dun" Mosley on March 30, 2022; seven brothers, Wheeler Martin, Silas Martin, Ben Martin, Bill Martin, Langus Martin, Amos Martin, and Dangus Martin; and five sisters, Rendy Hughes, Margaret Johnson, Nell Lindow, Millie Mullins, and Dina Martin.
Private services will be held at Destiny Family of Faith, 445 North Riley Street, Kendallville.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
