Connie Newcomer (July 8, 1947 - May 13, 2025)
With her three daughters by her side, Constance J. Newcomer passed away the morning of May 13, 2025 at her home in Powell, Ohio.
Connie was born and raised in Cleveland and a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College. Lovingly known as Nonnie by those closest to her, she was a devoted and generous mother, grandmother, and friend. You could often find her at one of the grandchildren's baseball games, choir concerts, swim meets, and more, supporting them always. Connie ensured that the lives of those she loved were filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable gatherings and traditions. She was "family famous" for hosting great parties and celebrations, complete with bounce houses, water slides, and delicious food. Family was her EVERYTHING!
Outside of her family, some of Connie's favorite things were music, boat rides, and nature, which she loved admiring in her big backyard. Her meticulously cared-for home was a sanctuary she graciously shared with friends and loved ones. That home became the family's grounding place, where we always knew we would be generously loved. A faithful follower of Christ, Connie lived gently, offering those around her warmth and belonging.
Her adoring children and their families survive her; daughter Adriane Meyer, son in law Dean Gluck, and grandchildren Samuel and Joseph Dierker and Alyssa, Holly, and Garrett Gluck; daughter Ericka Penick, son in law Jack Penick, and grandson Ryan Penick; daughter Elise Ring, son in law Sean Barton and grandchildren Cora Ring, Noah Ring, Connor Barton, Skyler Benedett (Barton); stepson Aaron Newcomer and granddaughter McKinley Newcomer; stepdaughter Laura Kaldy, son in law Dave Kaldy, and grandchildren Elaina, Lucas, and Gwenyth Kaldy.
In eternal peace, Connie joins her beloved husband, John C. Newcomer, and her parents, Myrna and Richard Nicholson.
Connie's life left a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion. She is already greatly missed, her memory will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew her.
