Connie Baugher Newman age 67, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Alive Hospice Nashville.

She was born December 3, 1957, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Alton and Pearl Roberts Baugher. She managed and owned a childcare center in her home. She was a member of Hardin Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Rhea Newman; son Jason Rhea Newman; sister Ruth Cook; and brother Dale Watkins.

She is survived by two daughters, Megan Rich (Clint) of Lewisburg and Hannah Ayers (Ryan) of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Janice Fagan of Cleveland, OH, and Patsy Potter of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Jaycee Rich, Lance Rich, Maylee Rich and Addison Davis; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home and Crematory, 324 W. Church St, Lewisburg, TN, on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Alive Hospice Nashville, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203, or online at www.alivehospice.org/get-involved/give.
