Connie S. Prasad (nee Burke), of St. Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Krishna Chandra Prasad; cherished daughter of the late James and Dorothy Burke; devoted mother of Krishna C. (Lisa) Prasad Jr. and Reshmeena "Meena" K. (Jeff) Gartland; loving grandmother of Cameron, Claire, Esme, Chloe, Cambelle and Anjay; dear sister of Judy (Jim) Politte; sister-in-law of Ramesh (Kala) Prasad and Madhu (Jai) Karan; beloved aunt, cousin, neighbor, coworker and friend to many.
Connie was a dedicated beautician for many years at Cross Keys Coiffures in Florissant, Missouri, where she built lasting friendships with clients and coworkers alike. She shared 57 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, building a life centered on love, family, and devotion.
While raising her two children, Connie was their ever-reliable “taxi cab” driver, faithfully cheering them on at sporting events and attending every activity without fail. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She was blessed to care for them while they were growing up, surrounding them with love, laughter, and unwavering support while their parents worked.
Connie had many interests and talents. She enjoyed gardening, photography, crocheting, creating cross-stitch blankets, cooking, traveling, listening to music, and proudly cheering for the local sports teams. She treasured time spent with friends and family and had a deep love for her kitties and dogs. Connie also had a special affection for babies and loved every one she encountered.
Connie was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Memorials may be made in Connie's name to The Humane Society or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
