David Ronald Maas, of Portage Des Sioux, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the age of 75. Loving husband of Sandra Kay Maas; beloved son of the late Joseph Anthony and Mary Maas; dear brother of Helen Diefenthaler, Thomas (Cheryl) Maas, and Diane Donaldson; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews, brother and sisters-in-law and great nieces and nephews. David is also preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph Maas, Robert Maas, Richard Maas, William Maas, Sue Kuersten, Linda Carroll.
David was married to his beloved wife for 42 years, they met while playing softball. They enjoyed traveling together, going to bars, casinos, and parades. David worked as a sales manager and enjoyed golfing and keeping up with his yard. One of ten children, he loved his family and his birds. Known for his good sense of humor, David was a funny guy who loved Notre Dame and football. David was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
