Connie Smith

Connie Smith, age 80, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. She was born on August 4, 1945.

Connie had a love for travel and especially enjoyed visiting the beach. One of the highlights of her life was the opportunity to travel to Europe, a trip she treasured. At home, she enjoyed simple pleasures such as coloring and playing card games with her husband and relatives. Above all, Connie loved her family deeply and cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of family, and the joy she found in life's small moments. Connie will be deeply loved and greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Smith, and her sister, Marion Eustice.

She is survived by her son, Paul Smith (Katie); her daughter, Kristina Kirkland; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Smith and Claire Smith; and her niece and nephew, Deborah Shipley and Mike Eustice.

Visitation will be held at Lane Funeral Home on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m.

There are not enough words to truly describe what a wonderful woman Connie was or how much she meant to those who loved her. Her kindness, love, and the memories she gave to her family and friends will be treasured forever.
