Connie Solin

Connie Solin, age 73, of Antigo, died on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on October 5, 1951 in Antigo, a daughter of the late Werner and Regina "Chicken" (Spychalla) Andraschko. She was a graduate of Antigo High School and attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point receiving an Associtates Degree in Liberal Arts. Connie was employed at Volm Company for 26 years until her retirement. She enjoyed crafting, the companionship of her dogs and cats, and socializing with friends. Survivors include a son, James (Lynda) Solin of Lily; two daughters, Stephenie (Craig Carley) Smith of Antigo and Rachel (Joanne Marks) Klistaui of La Crosse; three grandchildren, Christopher (Stephanie) Solin, Addisyn Smith, and Natalia Smith; and a brother, Warren Steve (Mary Sue) Andraschko of Duluth, MN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, Tom Taggert. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
