Connie Weaver-Lambert Obituary Connie Sue Weaver-Lambert, age 75, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at the OSU James Cancer Research Hospital, following a brief battle with cancer.
Born September 16, 1949, to Vernon and Burl (Knowlton) Couch she had been a Shelby resident the majority of her life. She is a 1967 graduate of Shelby High School.
Connie is survived by her children Chris (Matt) Jones of Show Low, AZ, Timothy Beck of Mansfield, OH, stepdaughter Kelly (Randy) Sampsel of Shelby, OH, and stepson Brent (Mary) Weaver of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 15 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren, mother Burl Couch, sisters Sandra (Von Gose) Baker, Karen (Dave) Cochran, Bonnie (Ray) White and brother Greg (Karen) Couch and numerous special nieces and nephews. She was employed by United Telephone, Lazarus, Lowes, Carton Service, Arnold's, Packaging Insights and owned Weaver's Wood 'n Things. She was also an experienced seamstress & quilter.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Kenneth Weaver, sisters Deborah Fought & Shirley Conley, and great grandson Hudson Curren.
Friends may visit the family Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home the following day on Friday at 10:30 AM. Pastor James Robinson will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
