Patricia 'Tricia' Bailey Obituary Patricia Ann Bailey, age 51, took her final breath on earth and opened her eyes in Heaven on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and the presence of her Savior. After a fierce and unrelenting fight against sepsis and complications, Tricia is finally whole, finally free, and finally home.
She was born on May 24, 1974, in Mansfield, Ohio and was a 1992 Madison High School graduate. Tricia had been employed with numerous hospitals and nursing homes over her working career. She was a former STNA, LPN and was currently employed as a MLT at the Firelands Medical Center in Sandusky. She had a gift of taking care of others and was passionate about people. Putting others needs before her own came naturally to her, which made her calling to health care a perfect fit.
She was a force. A fighter. A beautifully complicated soul who loved with intensity, spoke her mind unapologetically, and walked through fire more times than most could survive. She didnt always have it easy, but she never gave up-and thats what well remember. She was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandma, and a friend-but most of all, she was a survivor. Life tried to break her, but she kept showing up. Her love was loud, her presence was unforgettable, and her fight was fierce-until the very end. "She is clothed with strength and dignity; and she laughs without fear of the future." -Proverbs 31:25
She was never perfect, but she was always real. Now, she is fully healed, fully known, and finally at peace in the arms of the one who never left her.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, Gary Lee Sr. and Betty Lou (Sharp) Wamsley, and a host of family who paved the way. We know there was a celebration waiting for her-filled with hugs shed longed for and peace she hadnt known on this side of Heaven.
Please continue to pray for those who survive her. Tricia's husband and constant companion, Rob Bailey, who loved her with a quiet loyalty, kindness and strength that never wavered; her children, Myranda (Chris) Levens, San Antonio, Texas, Mason Oyster of Shelby, Heath Bailey of Shelby and her five precious grandchildren, Emberlynn, Gabriel, Aries, Levi, Atlas who lit up her world in ways words cant describe; numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends who knew her in all her grit and grace.
Friends may visit the family Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. A celebration of Tricias life will immediately follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Brian Phillips officiating. The family invites all who knew her to come share stories, tears, laughter, and love as they honor the woman who made her exit as boldly as she lived.
In place of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the family to assist with funeral costs.
We love you Tricia, and well carry your memory with grit, grace, and with God. Until we meet again.
