Connie Witt

Connie M. Witt, 74, of Galesburg, IL passed away August 31st, 2025 at 6:46 am at St. Francis Medical Center. Connie was born September 25th, 1950 in Monmouth, IL to Margaret Walton (Cook) and Herbert (Harold) Walton. Connie Married Mickey Witt Sr. April 13th, 1984 where they spent 41 years raising their children and watching their family grow. Connie retired after many years as a bus driver for Williamsfield School District. She loved playing bingo and spending time with her family.

Surviving Connie is her husband Mickey Sr; children Regina Walton, Matthew (Courtney) Payne and Mickey Witt Jr. of Galesburg. Her sibling Joyce Walton of Galesburg, Steven (Dinah) Walton of West Plaines, Missouri, and Patti Walton of Galesburg. She had seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Harold, two daughters, Melissa Payne and Brandie Witt. As well as two very special cats she loved so much "Kitty Kitty" and Eli.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private celebration of life will be held for family and those close at a later date. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory will be assisting the family with her wishes.
