Kernersville – Mr. Connor Mitchell Dillon, 30, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 30, 2024. He was born in Guilford County on April 14, 1994, to Marcus Vernon and Carolyn Pegg Dillon. Connor was a teddy bear and a very loving and empathetic person. He loved to help and would do anything for anybody. He was also incredibly funny and loved to make people laugh. Connor was so personable and friendly that he could talk to anyone about anything. He loved to laugh, watch movies, cook, entertain, and listen to music. He also loved the water and enjoyed spending time at the beach. Connor was a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents, Marc and Carolyn Dillon; two brothers, Cameron Dillon (Taylour) and Caison Dillon (Maiya Davis); his grandparents, Ray and Linda Pegg and Linda Ricafrente (Frank); and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service for Connor will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at The Crossing Church in Kernersville with Pastor Chance Walters and Pastor Dan Hipply officiating with special music from Gib Lopez. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Connor’s name to Sandhills Adult & Teen Challenge at https://sandhillstc.org/donate/ or to Outer Banks Dare Challenge at https://www.outerbanksdarechallenge.org/. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
