Dear Young Family,
I am sorry to hear about Connor. He was a great guy whenever we got to hang out. I remember that high pitched voice he would always do. That always made me smile. Its a heartbreaking situation that brings family and friends together. After finding out about Connor on Friday I broke down in a hallway. My friend had to help me to my room cause I didn't want to walk alone. After the sorrow I thought about what I could do. I am planning on donating money to SPCA in Connor's name. Once again I am sorry for what has happened and I hope everything gets better soon. I will be sure to never forget him no matter what happens. Ya'll are in my prayers.

I've been Connor's best friend since the fourth grade. He was such a great inspiration and positive influence to me, especially when I was young. Before I met him I was an extremely shy person, he taught me how to open up to friends. During our elementary and middle school years Connor brought me along to a weekly Bible study group and to Fuze events at Ironbridge where I gained even more good friends. Most Importantly, he and his mother Elizabeth taught how great and wonderful God is. I believe, to this day, if I hadn't met Connor I could of become the modern day, sinful teenager. He protected me from from bad influences in society, and became the greatest friend I could ask for, ever. Connor I will love you, remember you, and keep your memory in my heart for the rest of my life.

December 6, 2009

My thoughts of Connor are those of a good friend to my son. When my son was little he cried daily that he didn't have any friends at school. We prayed that God would send good friends into his life. He sent Connor. My son Caiden loved him. My family loved him. We thank God for the gift of Connor. We love the Youngs and know that you are in our prayers and that Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ promised to never leave us or forsake us and that he'll be with us always, even until the end of the world.
