Kaplan, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Rev. Hampton Davis will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 5, 2025, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Conrad John Clark, 78, who passed away on September 2, 2025. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Frankie Edwards, Andrew Clark, Cedric Gaspard, Neggy Trahan, Derrick Dailey and Troy Venable.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 8:30 AM until 12:40 PM when the procession will depart for the church.
He was the life of every gathering and had a gift for bringing joy wherever he went. Known for his humor and big heart, Conrad never missed a chance to make others smile. He worked for many years in the oilfield and found great enjoyment in horses, a passion that reflected his hardworking and adventurous spirit.
He is survived by his children, Clorisa Edwards (Frankie), Conrad Clark Jr., Isaac Clark (Chandra) and Kayla Clark; his two grandchildren, Andrew Clark and Haley Clark; and his three great-grandchildren, Owen, Paisley and A.J.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dean Gaspard Clark; his parents, Clomas and Louella Clark; and his granddaughters, Angel Raffray and Brittney Clark.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Charlene Broussard, the staff of Lady of the Oaks, Pelican Point, as well as hospice of Acadiana.
